How to build a website with Kompozer-follow my journey

I have wanted to know how to build a website, I therefore asked around and I was told the best way to start is to use an open source software. The best place to look is NVU and choose the latest release called the Kompozer. I have done that and now I am well ready to start my journey.

So toady I have downloaded Kompozer here and installed it in my PC. I will then do some practice by putting up a simple website.

The first thing I am doing now is to make the homepage of my upcoming website.

Before I go on, I need to say that I have a domain name and hosting from hostgator.  This is where my site will be hosted.

For the site to go live I need an FTP program to make my site go live online and I will be using filezilla, it is also a free download that you can get at filezilla.com.

I have everything I need. So using Kompozer, I will start by opening the Kompozer software and start typing on the open pane, in the normal mode.

If you want to know more and find out how to use Kompozer to make a website then check out sitewizard.com to find out more.

All the best, tomorrow I will be updating how building the first page went.

Grace.

You have a wonderful website – it looks great, and I’m looking forward to reading how building your first page went. I’m from TwitterMoms Follow Group, but I’m not sure how to follow your blog. If you’re interested in following mine, it’s Just Show Up, http://ideal-way.blogspot.com. Let me know how to follow yours and I’ll certainly follow it.
