I watched a program recently where a lady talked about dreams she had twenty years ago in some remote part in Africa. She wrote the dreams down in a and buried them so that they can grow. And her dreams grew, she is in the path to get all that she wrote down. I asked myself the questions, where have I kept my dreams and what do certain dreams mean in my life?
I have dreams, big dreams, small dreams, long term and short term ones and one of the dreams is to make money, really good money. The problem is, it is a dream I have kept for a very long time. This dream means I have to find a way to achieve it or it will never come to pass. It is also one of the short term dreams and I am working hard at it even now. I know it will come to pass.
One thing life has taught me is to dream. Think big well beyond my’ reality’ and it is a sweet thing to do so. The hard work comes in when I realize that the dream means something in my life. Action. So what do certain dreams mean in my life.
If I dream of having a great marriage full of bliss, then it means I have to learn to accept my husband for who he is and not try to make him someone he is not. And that is hard, since I always think I know better.
If I dream of going for my big vacation, one of my special dreams then I have to work even harder and smarter and not to give up. I must make money. My option is to work from home and make money online and then I can have my dream, only then.
I have many dreams since one thing I have allowed myself to do is to dream. Dreaming brings happiness in your life, a dream is a friend of hope . I never want to stop dreaming. Some dreams are really way beyond myself I never share with anyone, and like that lady they are buried in my journal somewhere and some still in my heart, between me and God.
I allow myself to live big and lavish in my dreams sice where I come from is so restricted in reality that I want to eascape. And this is what my dreams mean to me, escape from the restriction and fly big with freedom.
