Internet based affiliate marketing. My first steps pt 2,

Welcome again as I continue  profiling how I got into into internet based affiliate marketing and internet marketing in general.

This is a continuation of my first steps part one which is my first blog post.  You can read it here, internet based affiliate marketing my first steps part 1.

Writing small reports;

I  bought one of Jimmy D.Brown products called small report fortune. This is a long report full of details on how to write a small report, build a mini site and how to market the small reports.

He teaches how you can make some good money from this reports. I will give a review of this product in my future posts. I started my small report and have not finished yet but will use the small report fortune when I am ready to continue with that prospect for now all my energy is on  affiliate marketing as  I can be set up and running pretty fast.

In addition to the small report fortune, I added to my library John Ledger’s seven dollar reports. It is only seven dollars and full of information.Check out the seven dollar report here.

I hope to attach the two together and make some money. As my journey unfolds I will keep posting if they have helped me achieve my intended goal or not or if I am the one who did not use them correctly or put much effort.

Private Label rights;

I would not end without mentioning PLR.  I did know about them for the first time when I happened to join nicheology run by Paul Evans albeit very briefly.

Nicheology has new products released very month that you can take and use. They are content which you gain access and use as your own.   You  own the right to the products when you are a member.

I however did not stay for long since  it seems best for someone who knows how to quickly put  a website and do marketing.   I would love to join them again in the future, they are in my wish list.

For now I will be buying my content from EasyPLR.

Mastermind group;

I really wanted to join a mastermind group but the prices were normally prohibiting. So when I met Lynn Terry , I realized she had a public forum and also a private elite forum. The price for the elite  was within my range and I did not hesitate to join. I love the group. It is awesome and has helped me to start out.

Let me end my reflections by saying it has been a long journey for me to start out into internet marketing but I now I have launched out and I hope to make progress that will encourage someone and make them believe they can do it too.

If nothing at all seems your to be of use to you from my basket, then let me  recommend three things that you can consider.

• Join a mastermind group, if  I had know this last year I would not be starting now.  I recommend  this to anyone interested in growing their business online. Even if you have an offline business you need a good online presence to get more customers. I recommend Self Starters Weekly mastermind group.

• Secondly if you want to learn internet based affiliate marketing join affiliatenare. It takes you step by step,  with very practical  lessons that come in weekly.

• Thirdly, not every one can write a best seller and not all can come up with a good comprehensive e-book. Even if you can it may take you some time.  However most people can write small reports.  They are very valuable and easy to read. If you have no idea then Jimmy.D Brown offers some ideas in his small report fortune.

Those are some good resources and ideas. I was scammed once, with the get rich overnight schemes and once I started buying products I wanted to buy any product that seemed promising. But now, I have decided to focus, do one thing at a time, get it done before I move on to the other. I think this applies in most areas in life if you want to get the best out of any undertaking.

The second leg of my journey which is action oriented towards affiliate marketing has started and this journal will continue to outline how it unfolds.
