This labor day weekend was long for me. I started out on article marketing. Let me use the right words, I tried to write articles to submit…. I was to write an or two article and send to Ezine articles. Ezine articles is run by Jeff Herring who is known as the’ article marketing guy’. I wrote two articles, but fear of rejection stopped me from submitting the articles. This is something that I have not done before and the first step is usually the hardest for me.
However today the 8th Sept 09 as I checked in my in box, there was a message from Lynn Terry in her blog, titled ‘Article Marketing for beginners’. Talk of coincidence, I was so excited, clicked on the link and read the article.
Her post was on a new course launched by the article marketing guy himself, called, “article marketing for beginners’. Mmmm… She had done the first week and was excited that she had written a new article after two long years and submitted. I was shocked, Lynn makes good money online. A super affiliate. She is the founder and coordinator of self starters weekly elite membership group. I belong to this group and it is awesome. You can check its review here.
Not submitting my article is a real disadvantage to my site. This is because from reaserch I have realized that article marketing brings massive traffic to a iste, this means a big list and good profits. I am at cross roads now, I either submit the articles as they are and risk rejection, or pay 37USD for this course.
I clicked onto the article marketing for beginner site and listened to the audio. Jeff will be teaching beginners like me, how to quickly come up with ideas for articles. This has been another hard part for me. He will also show one how to use the tips gathered for a particular idea to come up with many articles. He makes it sound so simple.
I really want to get in but my budget is tight. However I have to start on article marketing to make my site known by others. Do I get this course or not? My big question. Let me brainstorm.
What are the advantages I foresee in this article marketing course;
- It is 12 week, fixed term, this means after only twelve weeks if I do my assignments, I will have articles submitted and I will continue doing so for all my blogs.
- Jeff Herring is a respected guy on article marketing so I believe he is offering quality stuff.
- I will have actions to do weekly, I am a teacher by profession so I love that there is a lesson plan and assignments.
What are the disadvantages to me;
- I have to cough another 37 dollars per month for three months in addition to the 27 I am paying for affiliatenaire, 27 for my elite group, 19 for Aweber and 9.99 for hostgator.
- So far I have only made ten dollars online and I do not want to spend anymore. I want to make money not spend it.
All said and done, I have to do article marketing one way or the other. Knowledge is powerful and time is money. If I can convince myself that this course will benefit me and give me a short cut to success in my online business then I will go for it. for now I will let it brood.
Tomorrow we are having a SSWT free webinar and I hope Lynn will bring it up for discussion if not then I will post a thread to the other elite members to get some direction. This group is the best thing that has happened to me.
